94 Drainage Points Repaired in North Jakarta

From January to early September 2002, North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has repaired 94 drainage points in six sub-districts in the region.

Mostly, we repair the plaster of sheet pile because it has entered the maintenance period

North Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Head, Adrian Mara Maulana conveyed, his side has repaired water channels, connecting (Phb) channels, crossing channels, river, and stilling basin.

"Mostly, we repair the plaster of sheet pile because it has entered the maintenance period. We also build crossing channel to overcome inundation," he said, Wednesday (9/9).

He explained, construction of crossing channel and drainage sheet plaster were carried out on Arterial Road of Pegangsaan Dua and Jalan Puskesmas in Kelapa Gading. While, his side also repaired channel on Jalan Koramil Koja, Karang Bolong Pademangan, Phb channel on Progo Cilincing and Jalan Metro Kencana Raua Tanjung Priok.

"We repair stilling basin in Sunter Barat River, then Cakung Lama River in Semper Barat," he closed.
